One of the fun features of Windows 8 that many people don’t know about is the Picture Password Option in Windows 8 – it’s pretty easy to setup and us so let me tell you how and see if it’s something your interested in.
To enable it simply pull up your CHARMS (drag in from the right side of your screen :)) or the keyboard short cut of WINDOWS KEY and I.
Click CHANGE PC SETTINGS and go to the USER Tab. Under “Sign-in options” you will find the “Create Picture password button. This will give you an option to choose any picture in your library to then define three gestures anywhere on your image. The gestures can be circles, swipes or simple clicks. The direction of the gesture matter so be sure you make is something easy for you to remember and repeat. I mean this is what it is all about 🙂
After confirming the choices a few times the picture pass word will be set…. Pretty easy, fun and something that could make you a little more productive in the future… or not 🙂 Give it a try 🙂
Until the next tip….. Enjoy Picture Password in Windows 8
