There are times when a photographer has challenges getting motivated to do something new, to grow or expand their knowledge. I continue to work in the commercial space and have a great set of customers and business.
I used to take a lot more pictures for fun as well, for stock photography and for sale of course. With a recent large move we just went through I have noticed that my photography for fun has been has fizzled.
Well, this is about to change, have I looked at various options and instead of getting too elaborate I am going to start a simple 50 Photo Project Book I just purchased.
I love photography and looking for motivation to grow each time, I take a picture.
My first challenge is Chasing the Light. The challenge is capturing beautiful landscapes, without wandering more than 10m (or 32 feet, it’s a book published in the UK for us Americas J) from your car. Therefore, I am going to choose loop that is 20 or 50 miles long through the country and capture what is in front of me.
For this challenge I am going to choose my Sony a99 with the 24-70 2.8 Zeiss. The reason for this choice is that I love this camera first of all, the a99 produces amazing images, the Zeiss doesn’t get much better as far as lens go and the camera has built in GPS so I could track the location of my pictures.
