A moving infrared timelapse movie.
This movie was shot primarily in Albemarle County, Virginia and captured using a Canon 5D mark II converted with a 720nm IR filter over the sensor. The sensor filter allows normal camera operation but shoots only IR images. I used a rail from Dynamic Perception to create the moving images and processed everything in Adode Premiere/After Effects.
Check out his website andrewshurtleff.com to see some cool IR stills under the fine arts section.
So two things that are on my list to learn more about this year are IR and Timelapse Photography Andrew nails them both at the same time. Wonderfully done and I share this for you to review due to my high appreciation for this work.
When I think of landscape photography in new ways I always see it in slow motion, long exposure and now IR. Andrew really captures that in this short video.
